  • Abstract:

Including artworks with a pedagogical sense in teaching proposals strengthens daily classes.  This kind of innovative classes aims to promote genuine scenes of the creative process ( from Fiorini, H, 2010) and conforms, from our perspective, an investigative, artistic, philosophical-interpretative and collective cognitive learning construction ... we consider that this kind of teaching and learning experiences could involve educational suitable professionals, to frame and produce meaningful creative knowledge for themselves and for others. Consequently, the challenge of this experience is to generate knowledge around a powerful educational proposal (Maggio, 2012), designing and analyzing the implementation of a didactic or teaching device whose transversal axis is the artistic expressions. This particular use of art in our classes allows us to build theoretical categories about the contributions that powerful didactic or teaching devices, enriched with artistic practices and languages, make in the training and craft of the future educational researcher. We develop this academic innovation from the chair of our curricular subject- Educational Research 1- at University of Buenos Aires. The results of a 2018 research assesment  instrument about the course of the Educational Research I -subject in which we work as teachers- allowed us to validate, once again, the power- the strength- that field work,  in educational research activities, plays for our students training. They remarked the importance of  the use of stories, songs, poetry, artistic interventions, artworks,  collaborative posters designs... and all these strategies that teachers propose in the classes, to develop this relationship between art and science ( from Rigal, Sirvent 2012). Based on the positive assessment and worth of the use of artistic resources, during the first four months of 2019 we displayed a particular device based on workshop activities. The aim was to get along our students ,with the different reaserach decisions they have to take for their academic final research  evaluation. This final evaluation was based on guiding students to focus on a possible research educational design whose thematic area was “Children´s activities beyond school”(we promote students to research non-school- children ´s activities).  In this experience, we included artworks - Antonio Berni's paintings from the Juanito Laguna series- to help students to come up with creative academic productions-.
