PERCEPÇÕES SOBRE AS COMPETÊNCIAS DO PROFISSIONAL DE MARKETING NO AGRONEGÓCIO

O objetivo geral deste estudo foi avaliar as percepções dos profissionais de marketing no setor de agronegócios em relação às suas competências profissionais. Foi utilizada uma metodologia de vertente qualitativa e foram entrevistados em profundidade 14 profissionais de marketing das principais empresas brasileiras de agronegócio. Este número foi dado pela teoria de amostragem por saturação. As competências que estavam mais relacionadas com estes profissionais foram: empreendedorismo, visão sistêmica, negociação, organização e planejamento, foco em resultado, foco no cliente, cultura de qualidade e tomada de decisão, sendo que os profissionais se consideraram capacitados para enfrentar os desafios dessas competências no futuro. Outras competências que foram consideradas relevantes, tais como a criatividade e a liderança, ainda são carentes no setor, tanto antes da porteira quanto depois dela. Foi detectada a necessidade de práticas criativas e jovens líderes no agronegócio. Os resultados deste estudo podem auxiliar organizações que necessitem contratar estes profissionais e subsidiar pesquisas acadêmicas que possam aprofundar o tema.

  • Abstract:

    This aim of this study was to evaluate the perceptions of professionals in marketing from the agribusiness sector regarding their professional skills. A qualitative aspect methodology was used and were interviewed in depth 14 professionals of the main Brazilian agribusiness companies. This number was given by the sampling theory of saturation. The skills that were more related to these professionals were: entrepreneurship, systemic view, negotiation, organization and planning, focus on results, customer focus, quality culture and decision making, and the professionals were considered qualified to meet the challenges of these skills in the future. Other skills considered relevant, such as creativity and leadership, which are still a lacking in the industry both before the gate and after it. The need for creative practices and youth leaders in agribusiness was detected. The results of this study can assist organizations that need to hire these professionals and support academic research which can examine the subject.
